In the State of Tennessee ,once the Local Fire Department arrives they are in charge and if the homeowner causes any problems, he goes to jail. Wether you like it or not the State Legislature made it a law some years back. Its great for the Fire Service. Who is to know if the homeowner set the fire himself.
Yes, the barn is gone but the owner would most likely flip out when he see's the firemen not doing anything but it would make better sence to just let it burn to the ground. We had a few barn fires where I live and the folks that own the place got mad when the cheif told them that the department was going to just let it burn so the cheif made us put the "wet stuff on the hot stuff", we just used our deck guns just like the vid.
