Maggot Brain played by Carlos & Jorge Santana. It's a tribute to Eddie Hazel who was a pioneering and influential guitarist in early funk music in the U.S. He died at the age of 42 after 25 years active. R.I.P.

  • How come Jorge seems to be pointing the middle finger at 1 point of time? Lol

  • @iamstupidhahaha1 It's a reflex, when you make barre chords you can see your middle finger is stiff if you make specific chords that dosen't require the middle finger. First time I saw it, I asked the same question lol.

  • @Devadip47 Barre chords are done by your left middle ,Jorge pointing his right middle,,,and is this importamt?

  • @69MC97gc Maybe to hold his pick while moving fingers, I don't know.

  • This is propably the sweetest and greatest song ever.Listen and learn. How can 2 people come up with this ?Asking. And how can 2 brothers repeat it,better?

  • awesome... wish I had a "repeat" button!!!

  • @iamstupidhahaha1 it's the way he holds the pick my man. lol. Nice observation, though.

  • Jorge is pointing because we ...yes we have been uncertain if he could play as soulful as Carlos-listen and learn.

  • @Devadip47 on the rigth hand yes, not on the left one... ;)

  • awesome tribute to eddie, bet he plays for god now.

  • @iamstupidhahaha1 I took it to be a magical gesture. He was still playing notes one-handed and wiggling that finger at the guitar neck, like he was magical.

I saw the guitar player in Uriah Heep play a whole concert, with a broken right wrist. He would wiggle his fingers at the neck while playing a solo, with just his left hand.
