Whether or not the Iranians don't want their current government, THEY WILL RALLY BEHIND IT if the US invades. The US is the reason they have their shit dictatorship government now. The US is the last country on earth Iran would want putting hands on anything to do with Iran, and for good reason.
US, Stay the fuck out of Iran, don't enlist in the service so you can't be used as a pawn in the US government's agendas. If you participate in the agenda, even with good intentions, you're guilty.

Bolton is such a shameless liar. He really believes that any significant portion of the Iranian population are going to welcome a US strike on their nuclear facilities. And I suppose he also believes that after that attack the Iranian government, and it's military leadership are just going to say, "Oh well, back to the drawing board", and do nothing else, huh?. Either this guy is smoking something really bad, or he is just mentally unstable, or both! Thank goodness he has no real power!

The NPT is the most widely accepted arms control agreement; only Israel, India, and Pakistan have never been signatories of the Treaty, and North Korea withdrew from the Treaty in 2003.
Iran can pursue a nuclear program within its own borders since they signed the NPT treaty.
