Tournament circuit point karate fighter and form champion Jerry Fontanez is interviewed at his old school in Manhattan. The always colorful Sensei Fontanez teaches his students and demonstrates how he got the name "Fast Feet". If you want to know more, he's on MySpace.

  • Just a quick question. i'm trying to remember the different schools i trained in. where in dutchess county did you have your school?

  • I started training in the basements and Parks of The Bronx and in 1976 with Tiger Kim on Forham Road by 1979 I was a Brown Belt.

  • Hey Jerry how are you the last time i saw you was back in 1979 . excellent video were you referring to my tae kwon do school at east 104 st in Spanish Harlem PS 121 gym .I remember your full split and yes you were eager to learn. I remember when i took you to a tournament as a white belt they thought you were a brown belt take care and keep doing the right thing. Master Sonny Mahai Tae Kwon

  • whats up with the different uniform. they are to UNIFY (keyword is unit) the students of a school. to have everyone in different GI's defeat the purpose of wearing one. ....and how do "Black Belts" not know how to tie thier belts?
