Lake George Village

There's a lot to do and see in the Village. You can stroll along Beach Rd. for beautiful views of the lake, take a carriage ride, go shopping and grab a bite to eat. Some other activities include boat rentals and tours, parasailing, miniature golf, haunted houses, arcades, swimming and play areas, and historical attractions. The fun continues into the night with music, shows and live events.

Thats is why mom doesn't let me ride those carriages when we go up every summer. She says the horses need rest and should not be trotting around 24/7 on pavement.

One of my absolute favorite places to visit! Just came back from vacationing there, in fact!

I was vacationing in Lake George and came across the horse and buggies. They had severe rain rot, 100-150 lbs underweight, their hooves needed to be done, prancing because their shod hooves were getting hot, sores from the harness, white discharge coming from the nose and eyes, heads hung to the ground and in need of a grooming. They are in NO shape to be lugging people around let alone from 10pm-11am. I'm a horse owner myself and was disgusted by their condition! They need medical attention.
