Sigh, the good old days
-
LOL at the crew members pushing the wing off of the car at 2:30

BSNFabricating
It wasn't the pavement that scared off CART it was the boilerplate barriers.
It was a miracle no IndyCar driver had to have their feet amputated due to a crash there.
The boilerplate is long gone, but CART/IndyCar attendance is so pathetic these days the ownership has no interest in bringing back Indy Cars.

It wasn't unsafe until it basically fell into disrepair...they would have to completely remove the old asphalt and repave it to run Indy cars again
-
Pocono was too dangerous for REAL race cars, that's why they no longer run there.

He looks pretty damn good for his age. . .
GO MEARS!!!
Something about racing 500 miles just seems correct. These modern day 300 mile events just seem like sprint races.
