I have had heart sergery because of a birth defect and have suffered a lot of these same problems but neurologysts and heart specialists still cant figure out why I get the syncope, greyouts and mygrains as well as the heart flutters and the odd hard pounding heartbeat, as well as muscle pain and tired.

Is there a way to test to see if I have dysautonomia?

Ask your primary physician if you can get a referral to see a cardiologist. They can do something called a tilt table test, but I've also worn heart monitors, etc. Tell your doctor that you think you may have this!

Also, you may want to bring in some information to your doctor about this condition. My doctor didn't even know about it - in fact, many doctors are not very well informed.

It depends on where you live. If you live in a ghetto, you'll probably be dead by the time the ambulance arrives...

After seeing this special on a mystery diagnosis program and researching dysoutonomia a little bit,I think theres a posibility I have this. What's the typical onset for this? I've had these type of symtoms for years now. I think I need to have that tilt talble test done.
