Pictures at Eleven sounds like a logical progression of the ITTOD sound. Plant's vocals still have that reverb that seems to bury his voice in the mix. Blunt's understated guitar work is excellent but far from scintillating. It's more restrained with simplified riffs and licks, slower solos compared to Page in his prime. His tone isn't very far away from ITTOD either. Synth remains omnipresent but doesn't dominate the album settling for simply adding texture.

One of my favorites from Robert Plant. Awesome sound -- esp. the bass in verse two, and the intro and interlude. Thanks!
