@grnet242 I used to live in that residential area. Where is it you live that couldn't handle that? You'd think a residential area would be the last place to allow a firework show, but it was actually comforting to hear those fireworks at the same time every night, twice a night. Since 1955 the park has provided great uplift to Anaheim's economy so no one is complaining. My first job at age 16 was at Disneyland, so I definitely have a softspot for the mouse and his endeavors =)

@defenderoFreedom it really wont rise again. we have no need for slaves, we have these things called machines. plus, if you did try to rise, you would be exterimanted quickly. we have tanks, an airforce, a navy and supplies which you probably wont have, just like you didnt have 150 years ago.

They could have thrown in the William Tell Overture, or had the crowd of guests sing our national anthem. That would have been cool.
