@chillywinter16 did you know that the Reagan administration was involved in more scandals than any other administration in history? I'm talking about more than 200 scandals. he wasn't bad but he wasn't great either. of all the people that benefitted from Reaganomics, the top 5% benefitted the most by a large margin. The rich just kept getting richer while the rest of the people were still waiting for the trickle down.

Republicans what a liars. All that talk about ''freedom'' and ''independence'' and yet they supported authoritarian state like South-Korea, South-Vietnam, Saudi-Arabia and Latin America ( many were right-wing dictatorships at the time ).

The Americans are hypocrites and liars. The ruling class does not care about freedom of speech, they only care about the freedom to exploit workers and to become very rich. Greed and capitalism is controlling America, back in 1976 and today in 2011.

@Michthemitch hahha dude give me a break reagon was a real president. he freed the hostages in one day....carter couldnt do that his whole term. reagon was a patriot. he believed in not blaming society for a crime that was commit by an individual and believed greatly in the right to bear arms and understood these rare freedoms. he was certaintly not a bad president...

@mitchthemich Yeah, that will go over with voters - blaming people that have not been in office for 18.5 years! Most Americans have had it about up to here with Obama trying to blame HIS mess on the second George Bush, earthquakes in Japan, European credit crunches, the Tea Party and Martians! Of course, he had NOTHING to do with the 9.1% unemployment rate, plunging stock market or our national credit rating being dropped. He also did NOTHING to increase debt by $5 trillion - did he? Nice try.

@Michthemitch Yeah, Reagan was such a disaster (especially when compared to our current President). After 8 years in office, Reagan had presided over an economy that grew tremendously, drastically reducing the double-digit unemployment, inflation & interest rates he inherited from the "George Washington of the 1970s" Jimmy Carter. Reagan challenged the Soviets & paved the way for their downfall AND saw his VP win the GOP's 3rd straight landslide victory. You want disaster? -Barack Hussein Obama!
