Also you shouldn't give up on humanity just because we fail. Remember we still have to get through the nuclear armageddon, the REAL fuel crisis and tribes of militant religious fanatics vying for power in a twisted apocalytptic wasteland before we can truly give up all hope.

@20893754 Nice one, long may it last! I would reckon it helps a lot with concentration and calmness as well. I've spent a month tv free before and it was a very enlightening experience!! You have me wondering if I should do it again for longer, get away from the scaremongering and adverts for things I don't need coming at me left, right and centre. Take care x

@Tombuchaill Well, for one I cant join in when my friends are stupidly talking about shows as if they really happened, lol. But no, overall I think it has just helped me to get a much better grasp on how the world really works. I get about 97% of my info from the internet now, and I feel much much wiser as a result. I do miss hockey night in canada though. :)
