What is the secret ingredient in melona?!!?! Why is it so delicious????
Their logo is a honeydew melon, but the flavour isn't that of the honeydew melon. What could it be? Watch and see as Kerri explains it in artful Korean to you.
My boyfriend explained to me that the taste of honeydew melon was "unfamiliar" when it was first introduced in Korea. The ice cream wasn't that popular, so they changed the flavour to be more "familiar" and the ice cream quickly became extremely popular. It is now available in over 15 countries worldwide, and it still only costs 90 cents (900원) for a bar here in Korea.
By the way, for those of you wondering...
멜론 - honeydew melon
참외 - yellow melon
키위 - kiwi
딸기 - strawberry

@tigerzee34 TNT, Galleria, H-Mart, any korean grocery store that sells icecream. I've even seen it in a few convenience stores! But then again, I live in a very korean area. :P

HAHAHAHAHHA isn't that true for many sweekts/ice cream products though? haha just like 붕어빵 doesn't actually have that fish in them... ok that was a bad parallel -_-

@tigerzee34 you can get the packs anywhere like nofrills but the individual ones are found in reallyy asian markets

My cousin has mentioned this... but I have never tried it. Makes me want one now. Where would they sell them in Canada? Just TNT or somewhere like that? Don't think it would be a very good idea for my dad to send me popsicles.

@tigerzee34 ~ hey ! you should be able to get melona in korean grocery stores, and perhaps other asian markets. i would imagine TNT would have it!!
