4x4x4 destruction, lubrication and assembly

This is a video of me taking apart my 4x4x4 Rubik's cube Revenge, lubricating each piece and putting it back together. It took about 35 mins real time and the vaseline (petroleum jelly) got everywhere. Even after I had finished, it was oozing out the sides of the cube but all it took was a wipe with a cloth. After about 10-12 solves you could see a difference in the cube and the oozing finally stopped and then it bagan to move a lot smoother. It moves really fantastic now that i've lubricated it inside.

hey thanks. I just love spending time modifying my cubes and making them better. Previous to lubricating the cube, I took it apart and filed down each piece so it could cut the corners better as well. It actually took about twice as long as the lubrication.

Putting them back together is really time consuming, but I find it fun.

my cube is some crazy dyi eastsheen BS.... i took half of a screw out for lube and it fell into 100 peices..... not easily re-assemble-able . i just purchased a new cube rather than reassemble.
