I remember this concert, it was great. I was thirteen, I loved them and still do.

But what she really meant to say was:

"White men don't seem to please me as much and you hansom men might. I Bet the two of you can do me real good. Put the moves on me baby!"

...it. Dave's children and grandchildren have to be repeatedly subjected to reading BS about this incident and they didn't shoot anybody...it's really not fair. So she seemingly forgave him enough to take his hand in marriage (which also makes it seem like the shooting was an accident). He admitted to being a pimp, a con-artist, a heroin addict, a dead-beat dad who doesn't know how many children he has fathered (he claims it's between 10 to 20). BTW, this interview is from '67 and the shooting incident didn't happen until '69, so your comment REALLY doesn't have anything to do with this particular video clip or what we were saying.
