Man - some of you people are ignorant retards. Read the description. A kipping pull-up is a completely different exercise than a dead-hang.
CrossFitters do DEAD-HANG's and Kipping - but most of you chumps who call it cheating pull-ups have never even tried doing kipping-pullups, and probably cant.
Factor in other high-intensity movements + pullups and running, etc - all of you are just keyboard doctors who suck at life. Go kill yourselves .

This is great,
I coach pre-national gymnastics full time and it's always impressive to see people still in shape like that into their adult years.
For those of you hating on the kipping pull-ups... they're done to increase intensity and are not a cop-out for strict ones, it's just different. You can train more pull-ups that way and as a result your strict ones get much stronger much faster.
