  • Probably one of the very few contestants to win the Grocery Game on the nose of the maximum on the first try.

  • We were in shock when they went up to 25 cents. Jolly Ranchers were 2 cents. A bottle of RC cola was 25 cents, but if you scratched the cork gasket under the cap, you may get $5.

  • Nice jacket

  • Never saw this Christmas episode, but this was from 1979, but Hershey's 5th Avenue candy bar was 20 cents at the time. She chose 35 candy bars. That was a waste back then. This was before Kathryn chose 17 eggs and that other guy chose 9 coffees. That was way too much!

  • SO... CHEAP! D:

  • Yeah, this was Christmas 1979..as you can tell by the set and Bob's coat.

  • Wow! 5th Ave candy bars only 20 cents? Too bad they aren't that price anymore.

    One and done!

    Love Bob's jacket too BTW!

  • 5th avenue-one of my faves.
