TVS-South Sudanese "Dancing in harmony event"-3min-YouTube.mov

Southern Sudanese and other Marginalised areas of Sudan dancing in harmony in Sydney NSW Australia. This event was organised by the South Sudanese and other marginalised areas association NSW Inc. This project is aimed at creating relationships among the South Sudanese and other Marginalised communities of Sudan in NSW Australia. The project was sponsored by Australia Council of Art, Westpac foundation and other organisations. It was coordinated by The Services for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors. The long term view is to establish a Sudanese Contemporary Dance Company that will work toward infusing Sudanese dances with contemporary dance.
