This impressive movement tracks time differently than other chronographs. Whereas the large second hand on most chronographs counts one second at a time, on the El Primero, the large center second hand registers time in 1/10 of a second increments by taking 10 seconds to make a complete rotation and then dividing those 10 seconds up into 1/10th increments. very smooth and very cool!
I am encouraged to see Zenith getting back to making watches that look as great as there movements. The bullshit disco outlandish disigns look more like the ass pocket on a designer jean than the amazing time piece the Zenith is.
