@dimatzoot I don't think Southern accent is harder than the North. the Southern only has 5 tones while the North has 6

@gck86 Cantonese is widely spoken among Chinese community, especially Cho Lon in Saigon where most Chinese people live. In Vietnam, English is prefer than other languages. you may hear many words in Vietnamese similar to Cantonese that due Vietnamese language comprises nearly 60% Han-Viet. Han-Viet are the words the Vietnamese borrowed from Chinese and we speak it in our accent. Example: Nhân(Human). Sơn(mountain), hỏa(fire)...

i`m Singaporean Chinese and i speak Cantonese with HK people.Vietnamese sound similar to Cantonese languages speaking .And i want to ask do many people in Vietnam speak Cantonese?

Hey Tina...why only 1 lesson ? i want to learn more & also, you did not explain why there is no J, Z, F, W letters in yours lesson. Anyway, I like it & hope you 2 will give more free Viet language course here because there are a lot of poor people like me who cannot afford to go for foreign language tuition !
