It's 28 years since this magnificent track made its appearance on NGD and it's never lost it. Truly a classic.

His voice sounds in my ears in the last 20 years (often) to much rasp, first i realised his more and more raspy voice after 1985, reminds me on ''bono'' from u2. Yeah bono is very good with his rasp voice, but not jim :p thank you for the upload and thanks also jim k. for this great performance.

what the hell!!! he can!! i thought jim can not sing really equal the early songs with the ''smooth'' voice from early years. If you dont know what i mean..you can found many examples from the last 20 years on youtube. But this here and now is fantastic! wow!

Hi Micheal nice to meet you. Myself and John hung around with eachother Once in a while when i was about 10 years old....i haven't seen him in years...though i heard he was in a SM tribute band...hence me asking if you were john. So the gig is on aug 8th?? I'll have to come and see you guys. Tell john i was asking for him...oh paul is the name by the way. So how was the edinburgh gig...better than the cork one?....same set??

Big Sleep,an amazing track,on the greatest album ever written..play guitar with the tribute,Simply Minds,based in Cork.We all met the lads after this amazing show,dreams do come true..out of 44gigs,this is top 3!!! LEGENDS
