a sample of my MIM ESQUIRE ( seymour duncan broadcaster vintage bridge PU.).
The sound is pretty cool, i go trough a MXR Dynacomp, directly in the fender deluxe reverb RI 65 ( with reverb).
Hope you enjoy those sounds from the fifties.

  • The dynacomp has a very spécial way to compress, it had sparkle and brightness to your sound so in a way it had a little of twang if you take care to stay in a low ratio of compression level (11 o'clock max). (exemple : if you listen dire straits ' two first album, you can hear tne mark knopfler strat with dynacomp everywhere, it is very twangy)

  • Great tone! What's the purposal of the dynacomp , does it help to increase the clonk on twang or it's just for sustain?

  • Great Playing, nice sound from that esquire. I've thought about getting one of those, but the ones in the store don't sound that good. The change in the pickup is the way to go.Thanks for the video.
