UM-Flint students teamed up with Assistant Professor of Music, Brian DiBlassio, to record the new program identification music for Michigan Television. The new theme music, composed by DiBlassio, was recorded with Dave Greenspan at the Duderstadt studio on the UM-Ann Arbor campus.

Michigan Television producer Donna Ryen created this "making of" piece entitled "Sculpting Sound," highlighting the processes of collaboration. It is currently airing on Michigan Television station WFUM.
