  • I agree with the Lib Dems. It is not sensible to have a referendum on each treaty in each of the 27 member states because then there would always be a couple of countries where it gets rejected and often because of internal affairs of those countries which have nothing tp do with the respective treaties.

    However, the British people should be given the chance to decide on whether they want to participate in the process of European integration or not.

  • Psticides, GM foods, all are not in the interests of good foods and the health of the populace. These are the tools of mega farming industries. The EU has just increased from 0.1 to 0.9 the allowable content of GM products into 'Organic Food'??!!
