Tackling early marriage in Zambia

In early September, the Young Health Programme launched in the Chipata district of Zambia. Marie Staunton, Plan UK Chief Executive, visited Chipata to see first-hand the work that is taking place to improve the health of young people. Marie provides a personal account of her trip and tells the story of a young girl, Mary, who is fighting against the odds to realise her dream of becoming a teacher.
