Tortuguero is one of Costa Rica's most popular National Parks. It is a wilderness area with great biological variety. The wildlife is rich and diverse, with eleven different defined habitats. These include high rainforest, littoral woodland, slope forest, swamp forest, holillo forest, herbaceous swamp and herbaceous lagoon. Mammals, birds and fish are numerous.

  • Great video shame about the soundtrack.

  • I GOT BITTEN BY A TIGER IN THIS PLACE, AS WELL AS A TAIPAN

  • this is where I am going next year! :D

  • @7wen7y20 I was just there. There are locals about 2 miles north on the Caribbean that walk the beaches and kill the sea turtles in middle of the night. You're right, it's a pity

  • Tortuguero is a beautiful part of Costa Rica. It's a pity about the dwindling Turtle population.

  • Hey, this is great. I spent a couple of weeks there last year and saw all those species. I did not however, see the otters so I am extremely envious of you. I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting it, brought back wonderful memories. :)
