So this week I made a simple but powerful discovery. Having played around with the "external audio" option, I ran some beats into the Moog and realized that the "Envelope Gate" switch is an ON/OFF switch.

While continuing my quest in finding ways to "DJ"-ing with the Moog (Moog J-ing), I found that the Env. Gate switch can act as the cross fader of a typical DJ mixer, which enables access to either record playing on either turntable (or both at the same time). With the Moog Voyager, there are 5 options we have access to (external audio, oscillators 1, 2, 3, and noise oscillator).

Simple but powerful. this will lead to many other possibilities!!! More to come -
