@tang2family In 1999, Willing moved to Dallas for a stint as Chief Meteorologist at KTVT. He did that for nearly three years before moving back to San Antonio due to a family situation. As far as I know, he's out of television.

@tang2family That's a really great question! Unlike Lori Tucker, who's ridiculously easy to track down (being that she's still a news anchor AND on Twitter too!), John Willing is decidedly harder to find. The best I can make out is that he still lives in San Antonio and is involved with various ministries, but aside from that? Nothing. Puzzling.

Everybody now! "Your pants are torn/On channel 4/With Lori Tucker/And John Willing!" I don't know if every '80s child from SATX ended their Happy Birthdays that way, but my peers and I certainly did. So that's how, even now, I remember both their names. Poor John Willing. (And Lori Tucker too.)
