Kathy kirby was a very talented singer. Her choice of material sometimes had to be questioned, but she deserved a better fate than befell her. I aways have liked her singing.

@TheNigelc8 i can only agree with you, apart from Leona and Alex from X factor they are good singers but not to my taste, but X factor has now gone to the ridiculous, i think Louis hould be shot at dawn, he had a fantastic showman and singer in Terry, go as far as to put him in the rat pack category, and he ditched him for fools, to be honest hun, music of the past decades knock spots off the majority of todays, and sadly when the odd good one creeps in they r told c ya so sad

A song that always seems to sound better in French, however - this would be one of the better English versions (though I prefer Samantha Jones' version, also on YouTube). Thanks for posting!

I can remember watching her on a programme called 'All Gas and Gators' I think that was the name of the show with Vince Hill and she used to belt out the songs she had a beautiful voice right to the end, thank you Kathy for all your work, and I do believe that if her records were to be re-released they would be a hit once again, so sad we lost a beautiful singer with a beautiful voice once again thank you Kathy.

@TheNigelc8 Not to worry - thanks to youtube there will be thousands, millions even, in years to come who, like me will discover Kathty for the first time, and then appreciate just how wonderful an artist Kathy was! She was only just before my time, sadly for me. What charisma, and such a glorious voice!
