Tornado winds and rain as it passed by my house on Charlton St, Southbridge, MA. Couldn't believe how loud ti was. The tornado did damage to houses along my street but did it's worst damage around the 800 block.
Great video. I bet it was mezmorizing for you to record it with out thinking of safety and retreat to the basement..... I know... I've experienced it when a tornado hit Quabbin Res back in 1997 or 98....and I HAD to see it, risking my life..
@caramon81 I agree. I live in Rosemeade apartments & it literally went through us. The forest behind us was reduced to rubble, our roof ripped off. Glass went through our tv & embedded itself in the wall. A tree & a car fell on my car. We heard it coming down from the airport & I thought it was a plane crashing in the woods. My husband, 11 month old son & I cowered in our bathtub at the mercy of this monster none of us wanted to see. The noise it made is forever etched in my mind.
you really didn't go threw it. you got the passing blow. damn thing doesn't sound like no train coming at you. This thing went right over my house. I live up the street from you and right in its path. truly hope this is a once in a life time event for me and my family. Ty to all the people that come out to check on us right after it happened, and helping clean things up. Our street will never look the same now.
Great video but you put your life at risk and really should have been in the basement for a shelter for this one. Don't play games in the future with nature.
i live on Charlton St as well only a few houses away from you, you probably would of seen it if you looked in the back! my mom saw it and we pretty much ran downstairs! it was crazy though, good video though! we were lucky we didnt get that much damage, unlike the people up our street

Wow, I can appreciate why you wanted this video but you did everything wrong.
Shooting this from an elevated location, outside or behind glass.
You should have been down cellar as they said. Glad most people listened to the warning.
