Directors Commentary:
Gods Acre was the very first film I ever made, and..wellit shows. This was before I had any formal training in filmmaking and you can really tell by the production value. Having never directed or produced before this movie, I can honestly say I learned quite a bit. I guess everyone has to start somewhere; and to say I got my start with a cast and crew of 12 people isnt so bad. As a first attempt I bit off way more than I could chew; and if I knew then what I know now about Filmmaking then I would have never taken on this project in the first place. But as they say, live and learn.

your hair was light brown in the beginning the got really dark

most likely due to a change in lighting. In the beginning I was under florescent (4400 K) lights, but all the kitchen scenes were under tungsten (3200 K) lights. We made this way before I even had a fundamental understanding of white balance, shutter and iris control, or good lighting. Funny how things evolve huh. ; )

Loved this, you forgot to give the bread bag a twist and tuck the opening under the loaf instead of sealing it properly, though. Now, THAT'S manly!
