Just a quick one for my son and any kids (at heart)! This nursery rhyme is sung in many countries and is usually about a spider.
In Sweden it´s called Imse Vimse Spindel.

Instruments used:
Loef dreadnought Aurora (played with a Stagg 3.0mm "Touch" large flatpick)
Tanglewood mandolin
Regal resophonic squareneck (dobro)
A "no-name" 5-string banjo...
(I have a Fender FB58 as well, but this one sounds more "old-timey")
Fender electric bass
The percussion is done on the guitar

Note the McKinney-Elliott capo for the guitar. It arrived just the other day and I really like it!

  • i agree with hanz who cares about the capo. You are a very talented dude; keep it going. Hell, they even have resonator capos: who knows what you could accomplish with that.

    Awsome 5stars

  • Thank you!

Yeah, I know - I actually have one of those resonator capos. Might post something with it!

    Cheers

  • Great my friend!

  • You have an amazing talent man!

How is that Tanglewood mandolin? I'm considering buying their a-style solid mahogany (TMAS). Have you tried it?

  • says for kids but i listen to it all the time :D

  • martin, you are the bomb any one that can finger pick the way you do, then flat pick guitar like that and play everything else is a true master

  • I don't think people understand the real purpose of a capo. I don't know how many times I've had people refer to it as a "cheaters tool," not realizing that it actually changes the tone of the chords you're playing, depending on what chord shape you wanna use for that matter. Or if you're like me and you have tendonitis in both of your forearms, playing bar-chords for too long can really become painful and do further damage.

  • Do you do your own audio mastering? Because that's some clean audio playback, very clean at that.

  • This is great! Why not make an album with bluegrass-versions of children's song?

  • i dont think that there is an end to this mans tallents. he sure is one of the best pure guitarist i have ever heard, and now he flat picks also, like whats next? does he write lyrics, and sing too?

  • hey martin which software you used to mixed your audio

  • hey which software you used for mixing your audio in this video
