On March 27, 2010, the United States Patent and Trademark Office officially refused registration of the application submitted by Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Inc, and its corporate alter ego (Idaho State Dept. of Education). The U.S. Government agreed with the legal assessment that Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Inc., the Idaho State Dept. of Education, the Clark County School District, and all of the Collective member entities of Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, Inc that were falsely claiming 'NAAS' accreditation were doing so without legal authority.

Despite this fact, in May of 2010, Innovations International High School, a charter school in Las Vegas, Nevada, which also claims accreditation by Northwest Association of Accredited Schools, placed a half-page in the Las Vegas Review Journal newppaper using the NAAS label without proper licensing or authority. The Las Vegas Review Journal accepted the ad but would not accept ads by persons or businesses claiming to be endorsed by the "Las Vegas Review Journal"

This NAAS Multi-Media Report is a continuing series that investigates the judicial and media practices of corrupt states, and the quality, character, and the integrity of schools, as well as their staff, and teachers, that falsely claim or imply 'NAAS' accreditation.

For the record, National Academy of American Scholars (NAAS) has not accredited a single school in the state of Nevada because Clark County Schools typically do not meet the ethical, quality, and high standards expected of the NAAS brand. Also, a substantial number of teachers hired by the Clark County School District fail NAAS moral and educational standards. We consider the case of Jennifer Gardel, as one of many examples, in which the Clark County School District, has hired persons that subsequently engage in perverted affairs with students.

For more information about NAAS Accreditation Scams, and how a school can remove its name from NAAS Accreditation Scam Media Reports, please visit http://www.naas-news.info., or http://www.naas.org/

Collective Members schools of Northwest Association of Accredited Schools must obtain an NAAS Provisional lIcense for past illegal infringement of the NAAS label.

  • I agree with you 100%

  • On or about May 20th, 2010, Innovations International School was legally stripped of its NAAS logo. We have declared this school as NOT 'NAAS' ACCREDITED.
