Just to verify, ANY thermal paste will do right? I want to use Arctic Silver 5 (My trusted Thermal Paste).

I'd just like to say, your video walkthrough of this has been a phenomenal help. Thanks to you, I just attached my first waterblock and I'm about to move onto the second. Thanks for taking the time to enlighten the rest of us! I couldn't have done it without you.
And just a tip for any other newbs out there- be CAREFUL when you're taking out the screws. The heads can strip easy, and I had to drill two screws out with a power drill.

The most interesting part for me would be where you put the thermal pads to the water block, since it's puzzling where to use a thin one, where to use a thick one...
For the cost of IC diamond, OCZ Freeze works just fine. Cooling paste does not make your cpu/gpu cooler, good contact does.

@0pTicaL823 OCZ Freeze is a nice product, but why cheap out on the difference of price on thermal paste? I can understand buying cheaper stuff if one is building a $600 computer, but anything for gaming...the extra $4 bucks or so makes it worth it. You are correct, good contact and application are big factors, but if you start with the best compound, you can't go wrong. :)
