autocar, motortrend learn a thing or two from top gear. i don't care if what top gear does sometimes is pointless. i want to see 2 ferraris drifting around a bentley thats also drifting while some lunatic orchestra plays in the background!! come on, bring out some epic-ness in your videos.

This film that Clarkson have made "2 series ago" with Aston as a main character to support the idea of "cool-cars will be dead soon..." is a little peace of masterpiece, and I'm affraid he is right !
I keep my fingers crossed, and praise the .. Americans..:)
Their Moden Muscle: GT500 Mustangs , ZL1 Camaros, and 6,4 HEMIs in Challanger are really unique these days ...

Jaguar is okay ,: relatively cheap fastest car on the road then ...(like GTR today, but with a much more handsome body... + succesfull racing car ..
Still ..cabrio versions looks so much better ...

MINI is on the right place,
I love simplicity of it, and genius design (function should create design , not the other way , as we see on almost every modern car - fancy gadgets, new-fasion collors won't cover ugly car-body-sculpture ...:)
Porsche is a classic, ... sort of "boring", but still a great car ...
Good , they dind't try to put nouvo-riche Por$che Cajen or Panamejra... :)

Clarkson also put Golf GTI very high on his best-cars-list ...
First proper hot-hatch , and very good from the start ! ... next generations couldnt repeat it's golden recepie.... simple, elegant and honest ... (what car today can match it ?!? ... maybe Clior RS ?!?)
You could probably relace this Golf only by equally great Peugeot 205 GTI ...
