  • Let's hear it for my generation!!

It was a great, great time to be a kid and I feel blessed to have been that age in that time.

......and now we're all closing in on 50!! Hard to believe how the decades have flown by.

    Thanks for posting this!!

  • I think David was a Vulcan...

  • I'm the only kid who could do Bernadette's arm trick!

  • I remember Bernadette and those arms!

  • I was about four or five when I watched this. Bernadette was my first crush.

  • i rember when i was 5 i would watch this everyday afterschool because i loved it but once i got to 5th grade it cancled which is sad oh well iam sitll a teenager and i look back on those times and i smile (:

  • Some of the "Zoomers" (from this, and other early seasons) would eventually surface on the PBS (and later syndicated) series "Infinity Factory", along with Irene Cara.

  • DrVonChilla,

    I know what you mean!

I used to like the films on doing different things. I saw a short ZOOM segment on Amateur Radio in the early 1970's. Grew up and became and electrical engineer!

  • I love how big some of their pant legs were! Talk about bell-bottoms! XD So awesome.

  • @gilgamess You're welcome. Your parents are not only smiling down at you for your splendid command of the King's English (or is it the Queen's? Does it depend on who's reigning?) but they're also smiling for the obviously fine child they raised, and who turned out to be a such an intelligent, sensitive and insightful adult. Your forgiving nature toward gigisdad and his "misfired" humor in this Brave New World of uber-communication speaks volumes about you -- and your parents' parenting.

  • @Dulcimerist David was a drop-dead cutie! I wonder where he is now and what he's doing, and most of all if he's happy. I wish him a world of happiness, because I think he deserves it -- he came across as a genuine sweetie.

  • Ty for sharing ! Boston, Mass. 02134 (I think)
