McLean & Kerr failed to record "above and beyond" efforts to help Peter McCallion's company

As a result of Inquiry testimony this week I discovered a revealing exchange between Councillor Frank Dale and Commissioner Ed Sajecki that would have demonstrated the Councillor's mounting frustration with WCD as well as the degree to which City Staff from three departments (Legal, Community Services --as well as Building/Planning) summoned herculean effort "burning the midnight oil" working through weekends to accomodate Peter McCallion's company so that they could avoid the fee increase!

As well, the McLean & Kerr legal opinion purposely omitted ALL mention of the Dale-Sajecki exchange despite listening to a DVD audio!

Had this exchange been included in the McLean & Kerr report, an independent, objective observer reading both the April 23rd and 30th meeting summaries would certainly question why City Staff from three departments were giving such extraordinary accommodation to Peter McCallion's company, World Class Developments.

In addition it was apparent even back in April 2008 the degree to which World Class Developments looked like a bunch of clusterf***s.

MISSISSAUGAWATCH will be filing a formal complaint against McLean & Kerr for purposely hiding the existence of the Dale-Sajecki exchange in their "interpretation" of the April 30 Special Council meeting. Failure to mention the specifics of that exchange successfully cloaked the preferential treatment towards WCD that was clearly there!
