I can understand those who feel it's disrespectful of "The Iron Lady" to portray the Iron Lady in a state of Alzheimer's. But Streep's performance as Thatcher is incredible, and far more realistic than this. THis is a fine production here, but doesn't touch Streep.

@thatcheritescot A much better portrayal of Margaret than the rubbish 'The Iron Lady'. People hype up Streep's performance, but Duncan's here is breathtaking and measured as was Patricia Hodge in 'The Falklands Play'. Thank you so much for uploading, much appreciated.

I was only bor in 1970, thus did not fully inderstand then what was happening to the country, however, I know have a better understanding of the Tory policies of that era snd before and today (even under `New Labour`) that systematically dismantled UK industry and manufacuring and thus the working class of this once great nation and it still goes on. Shameful. The Specials song `Ghost Town` says it all and from that era!

@8corporal Thanks , l will look up the book . The thing about Thatcher is that there is no middle ground , its love or hate , nothing else . We all know where @thatcheritescots opinions lie and of course l respect but do not agree with his views . His attempts to glorify the lron lady are admirable but as one of the old " enemies within " who suffered from her policies of the 80s l sometimes wonder what world he is living in . As of her 'State' funeral , l agree completely
