@katiet9 the cuts are necessary. if the size of the government debt increases on and on eventually interest rates would rise which would mean that the goverment would have to pay larger sums of money to service the interest. that would mean there would be even less money available for services etc. if they dont cut the deficit eventually the goverment would be completely out of money and people like you who dont understand economic would be looking rather stupid
