Sigur Ros- vidrar vel til loftarasa(video)

I'm so incredibly glad to see that so many other people feel the same way about Sigur Ros that I do. Most of their songs can absolutely reduce me to tears. I think it's partly Jonsi's voice, partly the music, and partly the fact that Icelandic is intensely beautiful language. Sigur Ros taps into a very pure and raw place in the heart. Jonsi is an angel.

I think it's sad how, in the past few days, I'm reminded over and over by how we should celebrate the people who have given their lives for our freedoms, all over the world, and yet in a country that has had legalized gay marriage for the past few years [Canada] me [a man 6'4" + 277 lbs] I am "still" made to feel too afraid and too ashamed to hold hands in public with the one I've shared my life with for the past 17 years? I guess the freedoms they died for... were only for the select few????

Think I saw this on 120 Minutes (MTV-2) sometime around November 2001. It was never identified but yeah this is it. Great song, video not a fan of the way its "boxed" but it fits the song somehow..
