How to record from a cd directly onto the amp. I've had this amp for a month now and just can't leave it alone. For anyone wanting to learn songs or solo's its great. Or just jam along with the built in songs or drum patterns.

@Johnsgotwood Thanks for the video. I just used it to figure out my SJ's recording feature. I have a SJ and a L6 Spider Valve also. I love them both...

in the latest version of spider jam- it lets you import/export wav files to and from the sd card. but the problem is it only allows 16bit mono 44100hz wave file... do you have any idea on how to convert normal wav files to this format?

Hey! I've been thinking whether to get this amp or not. Just asking, with this amp I'll be able to record just my guitar playing and save it on an SD card and transfer it to my com? I won't have to use any softwaresnor anything rite? Just a few extra cables here and there? And how's the overall amp? Thanks for the help and cheers :)

@Johnsgotwood When you save your recordings to an SD card how do you play them back again because it saves as a file that you can't listen to back.

@IMBACHABRI Yes you can record up to 30 minutes roughly and save it to an SD card.

did you just use a double ended headphone wire to plug into the cd player and the amp?

@huckleberry803 The cable has one small jack plug on each end. It goes into the amp next to the guitar input.
