How does it compare with a regular bike for long distance (10+ miles) commutes, particularly in comfort?

Why is he riding on the sidewalk?? In my town, Louisville, KY, that is illegal! It's also dangerous.

Goof: Continuity: You lost a flag at at 0:58. Or, a flag thief felt sorry, ran back after you and placed it on again!

@peddlersstore In your opinion whats a better buy the KMX Tornado or the Terratrike Rover?

Nice video, I have had my Rover for about 2 weeks and love it.

Does it ever feel tipsy ?

It never feels tipsy. I will never be a serious rider of a regular bike again. Try one out, you will like it.

Very nice video. Questions & comments - how far is it to ride to your coffee club? Also, we have narrower sidewalks and have to use bike lanes in the street. Do you feel comfortable riding in the street? I envy the wide sidewalks! I was considering the Cruiser, but my knees are hinting that the Rover may be better, lol.

It is about 5 miles round trip to coffee. I make the trip 5 times a week. That is just about right for a daily ride. I got the Rover 8 in July and have lost 10 pounds. I had a 10 mile ride the othe day, my longest so far, and it was great.

I have had my Rover 8 for 4 weeks. Although I am 72, I have been seeing what kind of hills I can climb. So far, I have been able to climb hills I could not make it up on my Trek Navigator comfort bike.

I am careful going past those driveways. I am finding that folks give me more room on a TerraTrike than when I was riding a bicycle.
The camera was a point-n-shoot Panasonic ZS3. It has anti-shake but that can only do so much. Most of the time I was operating the camera with my left hand. Some shots were made by my wife as I rode past her.
