Guaranteed, when I eventually get round to making my next vid, the expected dwindling amount of views it'll get won't detract me from the enjoyment I had creating the video. If anything, comments and views merely stand as a bonus to the experience in every video.
In short, you should be the one to decide what content you ultimately create and what content your comfortable creating, not the viewership.
That said, there's certainly no harm in collaboration; I'd encourage it :P

My family thinks my YouTube thing is weird, and the dwindling viewership only proves that I'm talking to myself lol. thank you for commenting, man. I didn't know you were still watching. this means a lot to me. You know, a collaboration is well due. Also, I'll be on Skype all day-ish if you care to talk further. I could use an updated "Damn you, Steeeevee!" for my theme.
