On "Tuff-N-Uff" Friday night, September 18th, 2009, MMA fans who filled the Mardi Gras ballroom at The Orleans were treated to a night of fast paced, action packed amateur fights. Though many of the fighters were unknowns--except to their friends, family and teammates in attendance--the crowd clearly had some favorites.
Crowd pleaser Stephanie Webber of Victory Athletics proved how misleading records can be. Entering the fight with a 3-3 record against 2-0 Patricia Vidonik of Team Vidonik, Webber showed poise and confidence throughout the fight as she battered the less experienced Vidonik. Webber's relentless standup attack and brutal ground n' pound left Vidonik bloodied and earned Webber the unanimous decision win.

@Naanoux You comment on warriors in Iraq like you know the tactical variants of warfare. The afghans and Taliban wouldn't be anything without unconventional warfare. You place a train infantry soldier in front of an indiscipline Taliban insurgent and see who wins the fight.

@bazarro44 ... like you said, it's 2010. So saying to women to get back in the kitchen is retarded. Ah ah ah about TRUE warriors in Iraq ...they are pawns and would be nothing without their tanks and guns. If you don't like the sport and it makes you feel inferior, don't watch, dumbass.

get back in the kitchen and let the men commit assault and do the cockfighting. Girls always whine about wanting a MAN, well men (good ones) want a WOMAN. If men have to follow gender roles, then so do women. If you want to be a real warrior, then go to iraq where the TRUE warriors are, instead of fighting for pure entertainment, for bloodthirsty freaks to watch. Hey im all for women learning to defend themselves, but "competing" and "learning" are different . This is 2010, not ancient Rome.
