Researchers at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem have found a way to enhance the smell of flowers by ten fold. The team of scientists achieved the feat by identifying a master gene, which controls the production of scent and color in plants. The discovery has enabled humans to manipulate scent production in flowers for commercial purposes. 10/12/08
