Pale Red: Nebraska fans may be sparse this weekend
That was the headline from the Journal Online, the news source for Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the WWW.
One of their sports jounalists, Mr. John Delong, predicted a less than red (PALE,) showing for the home opener of the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Groves Field in Winston-Salem. The Nebraska Cornhuskers traveled from Lincoln, Nebraska, hoping to beat the defending ACC champions.
Ten-thousand strong, Husker Nation faithful showed up, for a 32,000 seat sell-out.
September 8, 2007 -- Husker Nation showed John Delong how we roll.

First of all, its Groves STADIUM, although whoever the cameraman was finally got it right, and our newspaper is called the Winston SALEM Journal!! Although there were a lot of Nebraska fans there. But it was still big 12 refs that screwed us in that game. Especially the last play when the idiots didn't even call pass interference even though the nebraska guy was all over Kenny Moore. Dumb refs! As my dad would say, "WERE THEY WATCHING THAT GAME?"
