hi...im on 1st week of accutane with afew mild acne scars(as in tiny hole) did u go thru same thing and wot wud u recommend

@DJmmeeooww Acne scars can sometimes be perminent, but they can also fade away with time. I do have a couple of scars, even after being off accutane for a little over a year now, but there are certain drugstore brand gels like Mederma that help with scars.

When did you start noticing that your acne was clearing up? Also, what kind of acne do you have? I haven't started taking Accutane yet, I start around the 30th of next month! :)

I had horrible acne, not huge cysts and scarring, but it was painful, raised, irritated, etc. Not pleasant. I would say that it started really clearing up for me around the 4th month. But you also have to keep in mind that month 4 was around the time I switched to a higher dose of the Accutane. I started seeing small differences around the 2nd/3rd month. The biggest change I saw has definitely been post accutane, but don't give up hope while you're on it!! Good luck!
