Tempo seems really slow. Some conductors take the tempo way to fast in show, but this seems to be the opposite. A little faster would have been nice.

The one who played Nellie unfortunately took more care of the rythm and the right notes than of the emotion. Her voice really is good but I don't believe her in her role! Lucy is lovely. Both did a great job and I love this song! Keep working on like this!

The song does not appear in the Broadway production but way before they ever made it to Broadway, two concept albums were produced. One is a dubble CD with lot´s of music and songs that were cut or changed on the road to Broadway. I´m not well informed when it comes to the rights producers hava to buy to perform Jekyll & Hyde but it seems like nowadays you can puzzle your own score together from the material that was created earlier. In the German productions this song is usually present.

As I've said elsewhere, this is one of my favorite songs from my favorite musical.

Well done, firstly. Secondly, a bit of criticism: Nellie doesn't seem very in character. I see it as a quiet tone of sorrow bound by responsibility, this Nellie looks as if she's a victim of the men rather than circumstance. Just the way she presents herself.
