Since 2009, the average number of days to complete a disability rating has continually grown. In 2009, the average time was almost four weeks shorter at 161 days. The average claims processing time in 2011 was 188 days. This is not acceptable for a system designed to take care of those who fight for our freedom.

Thank you Congressman Farenthold, I'm a retired veteran living in Corpus Christi. I have been waiting more then two years to go in front of the appeals board.

In 1966 when we were being drafted, if we didn't report to duty, we were AWOL, Deserters, whatever. The answers that were given you did not surprise me, we hear it all the time, don't we?

    Hooah!

thank you Mr Farenthold!!! I am a veteran in Corpus Christi and have recently found out there are no orthopedic doctors in CC that will accept VA vouchers because they didn't get paid for so long. Hopefully that will change with your help
