Cresta was launched in about 1974, it was instant headbanger juice, I loved it.

Err it was started in the 70's and the taste was funny it was like getting a bag of powerded sherbet and pouring it into a bottle of lemonade :-) it was frothy man and more likley 90% chemicals LOL but I loved it.

I phoned schweppes up about 14 years ago because the new cresta wasn't frothy, they replied that the old frothy cresta contained carcinogens, so they couldn't make it frothy anymore.......
