Picture quality with one of these is really impressive. I just find one thing really hard to believe, do they actually place a (authorized) Leica lens on a camera which cost's not more then just 150-200 GBP. Because many sony owner's Claim that when you spend 200-300 pounds on a camera you don't get a Carl-Zeiss lens, its a Sony lens with the tag on it.

I believe it is a lens designed by Leica for Panasonic and manufactured under supervision by Panasonic in Japan. The thing to remember is a lens manufacturer, be it Leica or Zeiss, can be commissioned to produce optics at any price point, so don't expect miracles just because of the name. That said, the FX30 is good.

Hey I love your work, but.. I think more people would get a better idea of what the tele can do for them if you use it on a spesific object. I've used several lenses for more than 10 years (i'm twenty) and i still can't predict what perspective a 35 or 600mm will give, I have to see in practice. Join me in informing the world about perspective!
